The day's winner was Alessandro Petacchi.   

After Stage 4, Alan Perez Lezaun is now ranked #179 in the overall general classification.  His current GC time is 18:54:21 and he has a total gap of 00:25:26 from the yellow jersey.    Alan Perez Lezaun is competing for Euskaltel Euskadi. 

Tomorrow's stage 5 takes the tour from Epernay to Montargis and covers 187 kilometers of riding.
