Updated: September 29, 2011, 2:59 PM ET Ales Kotalik could play in Europe Email Print Comments Associated Press BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres are attempting to reach an arrangement allowing forward Ales Kotalik to play in Europe this season. Without going into specifics Thursday, general manager Darcy Regier would only say, "We're working on it." Playing in Europe became an option after Kotalik did not report to the Sabres' American Hockey League farm club in Rochester upon clearing waivers Monday.
