Amber Dubois Update: Police Say John Albert Gardner Possibly Linked

Amber Dubois' remains were found in the San Diego area Saturday, and the 14-year-old was abducted in February 2009 in an area close to where 17-year-old Chelsea King was running when she disappeared. John Albert Gardner has been charged with rape and murder in the King case, and police have acknowledged the same man might be linked to Dubois' death.

Amber Dubois (foxnews.com) According to the LA Times, Gardener is the focus of the investigation in Dubois' murder. A candlelight vigil was held in honor of the teen yesterday and hundreds of people came out to pay their respects.

Apparently a tip given to authorities led investigators to Dubois' body, which was located in Pala, California. Though it is a devastating ending, her mother said: "I'm managing. It was a roller-coaster the last year and now we have closure, which is more than a lot of parents have."
