Body left standing up for 3 day funeral wake
The body of deceased 24 year old Angel Pantoja Medina was left standing erect up against a wall by his coffin during his wake at his mother's home in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Medina's body was found under a bridge and his mother was fulfilling his death wishes. What an unusual request and it's nice that his family honored his wishes, however strange it may appear. The photos are amazing. He is so young and had already talked about death with his family. See Photos

"A Puerto Rican man has been granted his last wish - to remain standing, even after death.
Special embalming treatment was used on the corpse of 24-year-old Angel Pantoja Medina to keep him on his feet for his three-day wake.
Dressed in a Yankees baseball cap and sunglasses, Pantoja was mourned by relatives while propped upright in his mother's living room.
His brother Carlos told the El Nuevo Dia newspaper: "He wanted to be happy, standing.""
