Two waitresses working at Hooters restaurants on Long Island have filed a lawsuit complaining that the chain violates labor laws by making them pay for their skimpy uniforms. Gina Rosati and Amy Frederick say they have to shell out around $20 for their tank tops, tights and orange short, shorts. They also have to launder the items themselves, which is prohibited by state law when an employer requires a worker to wear a uniform.
