Annie Wersching’s film Blue-Eyed Butcher to air March 3rd on Lifetime

Annie Wersching’s next role will be in the Lifetime Original Movie, Blue-Eyed Butcher (formerly titled Killing Mr. Wright), which is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, March 3rd at 8:00PM.

The movie, which is based on a true story, follows the story of Susan Wright (Sara Paxton), a beautiful young wife and mother of two who violently murders her husband in their Houston home after years of alleged abuse. Also starring is Lisa Edelstein (House) as Texas prosecutor Kelly Siegler.

Wersching will be portraying Jamie Dar-Hall, a single mom and friendly neighbor who frequently chats with Susan and joins her for get-togethers. Although Jamie initially thinks Susan has the perfect marriage, she begins to suspect something is wrong after accidentally discovering bruises on Susan’s body.

Blue-Eyed Butcher is distributed by Sony Pictures Television and was directed by Stephen Kay (Craigslist Killer, Sons of Anarchy). The script was written by Michael J. Murray. Stay tuned for more information ahead of the March 3rd premiere.
