Anthea Turner slips into a purple leotard as she admits she’s Hung Up on looking like Madonna

Anthea Turner takes a turn as the Queen of Pop as she slips into a form-fitting leotard and strikes a pose.
The former TV presenter posed for a magazine photoshoot, recreating
Madonna’s iconic look from 2005 hit Hung Up, from her Confessions On A Dance Floor album.
She decided to take part in the shoot in honour of the star, who turns 52 on Monday.

Speaking to Closer Magazine, Anthea said: ‘I’m getting quite comfortable dressing up as Madonna.’
It’s the second time Anthea, who turned 50 in May, has recreated Madonna’s iconic images.
‘It’s great fun dressing up as Madge,’ she continued. ‘I think she’s amazing and it’s great to be able to try on someone else’s wardrobe for a day.’

Although the size 8-10 ex-GMTV host admits she doesn’t work out
quite as much as fitness freak Madge, she goes running three times a
week and has owned a Power Plate machine for the past four years.
‘They’re amazing. I don’t know how they work but they make you
stronger, more toned and they blitz cellulite too. But you need the
aerobic fitness to go with it,’ says Anthea.
‘When I go running I make sure I get out of breath for a good half
hour. It’s no use just walking the dog, you need to break into a sweat
if you’re going to stay fit,’ she says.

Despite admitting she’d been hit hard earlier this year after
property developer husband Grant Bovey, 49, was declared bankrupt,
Anthea is back to her usual bubbly self.
And although she’s recently turned 50, Anthea shows off how flexible she is as she recreates Madonna’s famous poses.
‘I think I’ve stayed supple because I did ballet until I was 19 and
your muscles somehow remember what they can and can’t do’ she says.
‘I’m not one for yoga, or anything where I’m asked to “switch off”.
It might be great for Madonna’s flexibility, but it’s not for me. I’ve
tried it, but I’ve always got a million to-do lists running through
my mind, it just doesn’t work.
‘I think that 75 per cent of how you look and how you age is
genetic, the other 25 per cent you can do something about. I have a bit
of Botox now and then because I’ve developed two frown lines between my
eyebrows.
‘I also had a boob job back in 2004 so I’m not averse to surgery and helping nature along a bit!’
‘I’m also finding it gets harder to stay slim and fit as I get
older,’ she admits. ‘I have to watch what I eat more these days. I keep
carbs to a minimum and try not to drink much as there are so many empty
calories in wine. You hold back the years if you look after yourself.
‘My weight fluctuates between 8st and 9st and I’ve never been any heavier,’ says Anthea, who’s 5ft 6in.
‘I’m a real chocoholic and I love pasta, but I can’t really eat them
any more. I just put on weight too easily and I really have to keep an
eye on my intake these days.’

Why are these celebs doing this to themselves.. if they want a successful career of their own then why bother copying someone elses photoshoot.. how unoriginal are we today. Thank god we have Gaga for some wackyness
