Born on 26th Nov 1986 in United States Antonella Maria Barba is now famous as an American pop singer. Antonella Maria Barba also participated in American Idol sixth season but unfortunately didn’t get her chance in the top 12 contestants. Presently Antonella Barba is playing her role as a non-partisan spokesperson for Election Mall’s Voter Space.
Antonella Barba took birth in California but later moved to Point Pleasant, New Jersey where she was brought up by her parents Vincenzo and Valerie along with her siblings that includes one brother and two sisters. Antonella Barba is the eldest of all. Antonella Barba completed her High School studies from Red Bank Catholic High School located in Red Bank, New Jersey. She pursued her studies in the field of architecture and in 2008 she completed her graduation from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
Antonella Barba’s first appearance on the television was in 2007 in the famous show of American Idol in which she participated with her friend Amanda Collucio. Antonella’s performance received more appreciation in comparison to her friend however both were bestowed with the golden ticket passes to Hollywood. Unfortunately both of the friends couldn’t stay for a longer period in the show and got eliminated before the top 12 selection was made. However Antonella still managed to get into top 24 whereas her friend was eliminated before the selection of top 40 participants.
As the celebrities can never stay away from controversies, same was the case with Antonella Barba. Her popularity due to the exposure of her former wet dress pictures was questioned. Antonella commented that this was her personal matter and was approached without her consent. The controversy that arose was that since Frenchie Davis the contestant Of American Idol season 2 was dismissed from the show on the topless photographs; why not Antonella Barba got the same treatment?
