Huggy Bear took a debt from a friend and got it robbed before he could pay the local mob boss back for his friend. It didn't take long for these goons to show up and trash Huggy Bear's bar and they were going to kill him. They let him go as one muscle head would ask the other for help over tipping the pinball machine as that was more important than their goal of offing Huggy Bear. The Bear was able to escape running through an upper window without seriously injuring or cutting himself as he fell seven feet in an alley. The thugs made a mistake by letting the skinny ninny go for a second. Starsky and Hutch would arrive and later kick the shit out of these two steroids filled goons after a great police chase. This kill Huggy Bear episode was pretty good and it sucks that Starsky and Hutch became so less violent in the last two scenes. We would gamble in high school if the advisories would be shot, but since watching season three it looks like no one gets shot on screen.

As with the Schiller Park bar episode, I would not be surprised if some of these bar murders are incidents like this Huggy Bear. Some of these bar owners are so desperate to keep their little business going that they would take loans from any unreliable sources in the community. is this the case with the Horse Shoe Inn and O Lanigans bar owner murders? Time will tell and We will report it here if and when arrests are ever made.
