Felix Loch led Germany to a sweep of the top four places in the luge World Cup on Saturday, snapping Armin Zoeggeler's four-race winning streak.
Loch finished the first run in second place but won the second heat for a combined time of 1 minute, 30.883 seconds for his second victory of the season.
First-run leader Andi Langenhan of Germany was second, 0.232 seconds behind Loch on the Oberhof course. David Moeller was third, 0.443 seconds behind, and Jan-Armin Eichhorn fourth.
Bengt Walden finished 18th for the U.S., Chris Mazdzer was 19th and Trent Matheson 32nd.
Overall World Cup leader Zoeggeler slumped to fifth, 0.510 seconds behind Loch. The Italian had won the last four races and finished third in the first race of the season.
Zoeggeler leads the standings with 525 points, Loch has 445 and Moeller 394.
In the doubles, Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt of Germany collected their fourth victory in six races with a time of 1:26.794.
Italians Christian Oberstolz and Patrick Gruber led after the first run but finished second, 0.039 seconds behind. The German duo of Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken took third.
Wendl and Arlt extended their overall doubles World Cup lead with 530 points. Oberstolz and Gruber are second with 485 and Andreas and Wolfgang Linger were third with 392 after finishing seventh on Saturday.
