Kim Delaney Bemuses Her Audience At Liberty Medal Awards!
Is Kim Delaney succumbing to her alcoholic tendencies in public now?
The Army Wives protagonist, Kim Delaney, recently committed a faux pas at a very important event, which was being held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
She gave a sloppy appearance at the Liberty Medal Awards ceremony, where she was to represent Robert Gates, the 22nd Secretary of Defense of United States of America.
Robert Gates, who was honored with the 2011 Liberty Medal at the ceremony, was introduced in an odd manner by Delaney.
The star had a hard time reading her speech from the teleprompter, which, according to some, was said to be having technical problems.
However, Kim left her audience bewildered, with her wacky behavior and her strange appearance.
So what’s wrong with Kim Delaney? Things aren’t too clear at the moment.
Was it the teleprompter, or her history of substance abuse that is to be blamed?
Phew yes! Kim Delaney has been in rehabilitation twice for alcohol addiction and was also arrested for drinking and driving in 2002.
As Kim was found to be faltering on the stage, she was ushered off the same, before she could even end her speech.
Kim, in her speech related to the sufferings of families with army backgrounds and mentioned that she has witnessed some of their injuries and funerals, as she has worked with active military duty families for five years.
Contrary to this incident, due to which the talented actress has gained immense disapproval, Lifetime’s Army Wives episodes would only make you grow fond of this stunning actress.
Why?
Because she very convincingly, plays the role of a lead character, who is married to an army man, in this top rated show!
She plays the main lead of Claudia Joy Holden, who is married for a long time to an army man, Michael Holden.
While you might want to catch her on the show, it would be a good idea to give her ceremonial performance a miss!
