'Ugly Betty' Star Ashley Jensen Welcomes Son

Ugly Betty actress Ashley Jensen and her husband Terence Beesley had their first son, Francis Jonathan, October 20, the actress just confirmed. She and her new baby are happy and healthy and resting at home.

Before Francis’ arrival, Ashley, who also stars in TV show Accidentally on Purpose, about a woman who unexpectedly discovers she is expecting a baby, said she didn’t want to know the baby’s sex. She revealed: “We thought there are so few surprises left in the world. We wanted to be surprised, so we don’t have the room painted pink or blue.”

Ashley and Terence married in California in 2007 after 6 years of dating. They currently live in Los Angeles with their dog Barney, but also have homes in London and Italy. She had made no secret of her desire to have a child, saying: "It would be great! I think I'd really like it."
