Tila Tequila said today that she wants to obtain custody of Casey Johnson's 3-year-old daughter, Ava Johnson. The reality starlet said in an interview with Extra that Johnson's final wish was for Tequila to adopt her a child.

"Her last wish was to have Ava, have me have Ava," says Tequila in an interview with Extra that will air on Wednesday. No word on how Johnson expressed this wish, or whether Tequila is prepared to go to court in order to try to obtain custody of the child.

Casey Johnson adopted Ava from Kazakhstan in 2007. The 30-year-old heiress, who died from unknown circumstances on January 4, 2010, lost custody of her daughter to her mother, Sale, after concerns were raised about the safety of the child.

Considering that the Johnson family has refused to allow Tequila to attend the funeral of their daughter, and her continuing erratic behavior, we're guessing any attempts by Tequila to obtain custody of the child will likely be unsuccessful. That's no reason she can't grab a little more publicity by trying, though.
