Azerbaijani producer Tahir Aliyev, who’s currently working and living in Finland, received an invitation to the 62nd Berlin Film Festival. Aliyev will get a chance to show his film “Woman on Hold” there. The International festival will be held from 9 to 19 of February, 2012.

“Woman on Hold” was presented at many International Film Festivals in Europe, and in Finland as well. It was shot with support from Finnish and Spanish TV-channels.

“Woman on Hold” seems to be a feature film, and hopefully it will get its attention in Berlin.

Tahir Aliyev by the way is more know for his work with documentaries – that’s where he first started, working on “3 rooms of Melancholia” with Finnish director Pirjo Honkasaloni. “3 rooms…” got a Venice Film Festival Award, plus over 30 awards on other film festivals.
