Ban on Trans Fats

Ban on Trans Fats

New York has become the first city in the world to ban artificial trans fats from restaurants. Should other cities and states do the same? What do you think about bans on artificial trans fats?

Over two years ago, Girl Scouts took a bold turn away from trans fats, removing trans fatty acids from 90-year-old favorites -- Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs and Do-Si-Dos. "We embraced the change because we think it's the healthy thing to do for everybody," said Leslie Roth, ceo of Girl Scouts of Broward County, Inc.
