Bangladeshi filmmaker Taher Chowdhury dead
Bangladeshi film director Taher Chowdhury, who began his career in Kolkata as an actor, is dead. He was 69.
Kolkata-born Chowdhury directed the films "Jeena Bhi Mushkil", "Matir Maya", "Pratibad" and "Laxmibadhu".
Bangladeshi film directors mourned his death, New Age newspaper said Monday.
