Clevver TV Q & A With Bella Thorne And Pia Mia About "Bubblegum Boy"
Clevver TV had an exclusive interview with "Bubblegum Boy" singers, Bella Thorne and Pia Mia. Here is a little bit of it:
What inspired “Bubblegum Boy”?
Bella: I think what inspired it are those boys in school, or any boy in general, that can talk a lot but doesn’t really show up.
Have you dealt with a lot of “bubblegum boys” in your day?
Bella: I’ve definitely had a few of them in my life, I know that for sure.
Pia: I’ve only had one boyfriend, Remy, and he’s super sweet to me, so I’ve never had to deal with one. I’ve seen them though.
What would your advice be for how to handle a “bubblegum boy”?
Bella: I think just totally forget about it because they’re never gonna be, necesarily the right guy.
You two look like you had such a great time in the studio. What was the vibe like?
Pia: It’s a lot of fun in the studio when you’re by yourself and when you’re with your best friend it completly changes everything and makes it so much more fun. The energy is just like way up, and me and Bella, when we go into the studio, we always get Slim Jims and tomato juice. We were really hungry in the studio but the only place we could get food was the gas station, so we had to go and find the best snacks there and that’s what it was. Every time we go to the studio now we get Slim Jims and tomato juice.
Can we expect a music video for the song?
Bella: Definitely. We’re working on a new song right now too. So you guys will just have to watch out.
What other types of songs are you working on?
Bella: We’re working on like a fun, dance song that everyone can just groove to. It’s kind of just about having fun with your friends and letting haters be haters.
