Here comes the purpose built project of Vila Castela Residence completely with four main concepts to design the residence; little interference in the site, better use of natural resources, integration to the surroundings, and a generous urban presence. Standing firmly on the expanded area of 650 sqm, the Vila Castela Residence uses dramatic cantilevers to emphasize the extremity of its position. Perfectly, the residence is designed by Anastasia Arquitectos which is located in Minas Gerais, Brazil. As everyone looks at the image, the house is sturdily arisen in a sloped site about 30 degrees. It gives a distinctive characteristic for the residence itself.
Being stood in a sloped site about 30 degrees, the Vila Castela Residence still looks firmly. By that place, the house offers the pedestrian view of the forest besides using to keep the owners’ privacy. To integrate its distinctive climate with 28°Celsius in the summer and 16° Celsius in the winter, for the roof design, it gets the use of solar voltaic cells. The main building of Vila Castela is constructed with three different floors; the basement containing sauna, Jacuzzi, and a wine cellar room, the ground floor comprising of living area and the kitchen, the outdoor swimming pool and external terrace, and the first floor to place privacy thing and bedroom.
“Built in a sloped site (30 degrees) in the city of Nova Lima, Brazil, the house uses dramatic cantilevers to emphasize the extremity of its position. We have chosen this concept not only for aesthetic reasons, but above all to reduce the interference of the building mass in the topography, keeping the site as natural as possible.
The form is generated by the engineering of the concrete structure, which is robust and sculptural and, at the same time, light and contextualized with the surroundings, not a self -referred structure. The concrete maintains its texture, and the masonry is painted terracotta, for low maintenance reasons. (The ground has a red dust, iron ore dust).
