The Bonnie Hunt Show Pops Kelly’s Talk Show Cherry

Promoting her new reality show Kell on Earth, Kelly Cutrone was on The Bonnie Hunt Show yesterday where she told Bonnie this was her first talk show appearance. Well, Kelly admits to having been on Alexa Chung on that one obscure little station, but Bonnie Hunt popped Kelly’s Network TV cherry.

Kelly also admits that she’s intimidated by Bonnie’s “big time talk show”, saying her karma is caught up with her. As for her TV persona Kelly says “they don’t have me on TV because I’m a hot blonde from the OC”. Her job is to not care about her looks and intimidate those hot blondes from the OC! Love it!

When Bonnie asks the million dollar question, whether Lauren and Whitney got the jobs on their own merit or through the show, Kelly admits that the show provided a platform. But she does point out that Whitney got a job at Women’s Wear Daily before anyone knew what theHills was. Plus her father, Jeff Port “works in the fashion industry, he makes clothes,” Kelly said. Also interesting is that Kelly’s relationship with Whitney has turned into a relationship with the entire family. Kelly told Ryan Seacrest last week that she doesn’t talk to Lauren, but that she is tight with Whitney. So tight that Whitney’s parents came to her book signing in LA. Likewise, Kelly told Bonnie that Whitney’s father “is kind of like my TV husband now. Because we talk about her career almost like we’re married, even thought he’s married to her mom Vicki.”

As for Kelly’s personal life, she says her mom wants her to wear make-up, meet a nice guy and get married. But Kelly doesn’t want to get married. She’s been there, done that, backwards. “I was married twice, I left my second husband, met a French actor, got pregnant, broke up with him, had a baby by myself and got white furniture,” Kelly explains.
