The proposal was orchestrated by Brad and Karina's manager, who told the dancing queen that he had arranged a meeting between her and the president of Twitter at a super swanky restaurant.
Karina recalled: "We went to this restaurant and [my manager] got on her phone and said 'this Related News:
guy is killing me,' and got up and walked away, Then Brad walked in and it still didn't register. He got down on one knee and he opened the box and I said, 'Thank you'. I honestly didn't expect it." Too cute!
Karina showed off her gorgeous 4.5 carat Asscher Cut diamond engagement ring last night at the 5-year anniversary party of Tao in Las Vegas, though her hubby-to-be wasn't able to make it. Instead, he sent her a hand-written note inside a fortune cookie, and included a diamond necklace for good measure! OMG.
Karina and fellow DWTS pro Makism Chmerkovskiy called off their engagement in October 2009.
