Dubai is full of beautiful hotels but of all of these Al Qasr is outstanding. A driveway lined with life-size golden horses guides you to the imposing courtyard entrance.
Here's my wobbly video of the golden horses!

You will often find amazing cars parked in the courtyard. On my last visit this Bugatti Veyron was outside along with a very shiny Buick.

I'd taken my family for afternoon tea which is fabulous at Al Qasr.
My granddaughter Emily clearly thought that she was going to be tucking into a few cakes. Wrong Em. Just the milk for you as usual.
Of all the delicious cakes this little cheesecake was my favourite. Just because it was tasty and not at all because of the gold leaf sitting on the top!

In addition to the scrumptious afternoon teas, Al Qasr is famed for it's bountiful Friday brunches. I'm hoping to try the brunch out for myself one day...

The hotel is part of the Madinat Jumeirah complex which includes the Mina A' Salam Hotel and the Madinat Souk along with many restaurants, bars, theatres and nightclubs. The Madinat hotels and Souk are connected by a picturesque waterway. Graceful abras ferry guests between hotel, souk and restaurant.
