G-Power BMW German Auto Tuning House Amazes Us Again With Their Typhoon Products!
G-Power, an auto tuning shop based in Germany has produced their new products for BMW’s X5 M and X6 M vehicles. Already an impressive package from the factory, G-Power has once again raised the bar with their beautifully designed add-on package custom tailored for the X5 M and X6 M. G-Power is no stranger to the car tuning industry and their experience shows here. I am sure BMW enthusiasts will welcome this equipment package with open arms – if they can afford it! Yes, that’s right, G-Power comes at a hefty price but I can tell you from seeing their products up close and personally, the quality is definitely what you pay for!
The aerodynamics kit consists of a complete OEM replacement of the front bumper and is made of carbon fiber. The front skirt is also specifically designed to allow 15% more airflow to the radiator and oil cooler to help maintain a healthy operating temperature on the mighty N64 4.4L V8 Bi-Turbo BMW engine. The G-Power hood is made of a Kevlar hybrid material and includes molded in ventilation slots to ensure proper heat dissipation from the engine bay. These modifications pave the way for the G-Power custom ecu remapping software which brings the total horsepower of the X5 M and X6 M up to 600hp at 6000RPM. The rear end of the SUV’s are fitted with a carbon fiber diffuser which also complements the 4×100mm end pipes of the deeply toned stainless steel exhaust system.
Altogether, the BMW X5 M and X6 M Typhoon packaged SUV’s accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 16.2 seconds. The ecu remapping removes the top speed limiter which enables the SUV’s to reach an enormous top speed of over 300km/h.
The interior features a guage cluster with a G-Power branded speedometer, carbon fiber interior trim panels and linings on the center console, doors and dashboard. Also, a custom formed fitted sporty steering wheel is installed and you may have your choice of color in all leather and ultra suede colors.
