Carlos Mencia wit real name Ned Arnel Mencía was born on October 22, 1967 is Honduran-born US citizen and actor as well as writer and comedian. He grew up in the Californian suburbs and raised there with his uncle and aunt. Carlos Mencia graduated from the California State University, Los Angeles in electrical engineering. His career in comedy was just an accident. He adopted this career by doing standup comedy at The Laugh Factory a night club in California.
Carlos Mencia mostly turned his style of comedy to race relations, immigrations and ethnic issues along with the trade mark of baseball jerseys. He stared his Comedy Central half hour show by the name of Mind of Mencia in 2005 with his brother Joseph Mencia. For this series he visited nation wide door to door. Before joining the Comedy Central he was conducting award winning show at HBO by the name of Funny is Funny
Carlos Mencia also appeared in various films such as The Three Amigos, 29 Palms, Outta’ Time and The Heartbreak Kid. Besides that carols Mencia regularly appeared on different Networks shows like Dennis Miller, Comic Relief VI, and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher and Loco Slam. Carlos toured the nation’s universities, colleges and clubs as part of the Mind of Mencia. Currently he is regular appearing on Comedy Central. He has been married to Mexican women Amy having a son Lucas Pablo Mencia in California
