Ohio woman Carolyn and her husband Sean Savage are having a fourth child, but it's not their own. Carolyn was implanted with the wrong embryo by a fertility clinic and when the baby is born in a few weeks, they must give it up to its biological parents. Their story made national headlines when Carolyn and Sean Savage appeared on the 'TODAY' show.
Carolyn Savage, Implanted with the Wrong Embryo, Now Has to Give Up the Baby
Carolyn Savage isn't feeling uneasy about delivering her fourth baby for the reasons most moms get anxious over giving birth. It's not about the pain, physically, at least. Instead, Carolyn and Sean Savage will be forced to give up their baby because she was implanted with the wrong embryo by her fertility clinic. The baby will go to its biological parents.

Carolyn and Sean were thrilled when they found out she was pregnant with her fourth child after a decade of fertility problems. They shortly found out that the baby was not their own, and had to choose between terminating the pregnancy (which they are morally opposed to) and giving the baby up as soon as it is born. The Savages decided to carry out the pregnancy and have been in contact with the biological parents and mental health professionals to prepare to give the baby up. They told their story on the TODAY show to raise awareness that things like this can happen. Carolyn said on the show:
We’ve been rooting for the baby the whole time. We moved from a position of shock to a realization that this was actually going to happen. We needed to put the needs of the pregnancy and the child first.
Carolyn has been told by her doctors that this must be her final pregnancy, so they plan to have their remaining five embryos (the ones they thought they had used up for this pregnancy) implanted in a surrogate in hopes of having another child. The Savages told the TODAY show that their attorneys are handling the matter with the fertility clinic, and that their focus is the baby's well-being.
The Savages said they would like a chance to say goodbye to this baby, and then will let the other family go its separate way. Carolyn said: “Of course, we will wonder about this child every day for the rest of our lives. We have hopes for him, but they’re his parents, and we’ll defer to their judgment on when and if they ever tell him what happened and any contact that’s afforded us. We just want to know he’s healthy and happy.”

Someone please help me pass this message on to Carolyn Savage and her family. My message is this, the one who carries the baby in her womb is the real mother, not the one who provided the DNA. It is your body that undergoes changes and becomes ready to feed the child. So please reconsider your decision to give away your rights. If you do not take a stand now, surrogate pregnancy will become the modern equivalent of slavery.
I quote the following verses from the final revelation of God to back my argument on who the real mother is.
1. Sura 31 - Luqman : Verse 14
And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years — give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination.
2. Sura 58 - Al Mujadila : Verse 1
.....none can be their mothers except those who gave them birth. And in fact they use words (both) iniquitous and false: but truly God is One that blots out (sins), and forgives (again and again).

Wow, I can't even imagine what this couple must be going through. And I can't even begin to imagine how the fertility clinic could make such a monumental mistake like this. Obviously new procedures need to be put into place to insure that this never happens again.
This is stupid. See what happens when you try and play god! god has smitten them down with the rath of thousand angry angels. Heathens!
