Her debut album, "Some Hearts," was certified quadruple platinum, and is the fastest selling female country album since the introduction of the Nielsen SoundScan in 1991.
Her major awards include three Billboard Music Awards, a Dove Award, two Academy of Country Music Awards and two Country Music Association Awards including Female Vocalist Of The Year and the Horizon Award. She also won an American Music Awards for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, beating out Chamillionaire and The Pussycat Dolls. Underwood has also won an Inspirational Country Award for Mainstream Country Artist of the Year.
