Cars with Best Gas Mileage
This is a zine about cars that get the best gas mileage. It includes reviews, price comparisons, descriptions of hybrid cars as well as smaller efficient gasoline-based cars.
The $3 billion 'cash for clunkers' program mostly involved swaps of old Ford or Chevy pickups for new ones that got only marginally better gas mileage -- between 1 and 3 mpg better than the older trucks. Buyers were 17 times more likely to get a new F150 than, say, a Toyota Prius.
