The rich, politically connected, Casino enclaves and the grinding abject poverty of the average citizen? Citizens from around the country, moved by sympathy and humanity, donated money to help bury Detroit's dead.
Where is the promised prosperity? Where is the tourism? Where is the glamour. It was, as is the entire operation, a cynical lie. The Detroit Casino Gambling Industrialists net $1 Million Dollars a day each, and selfishly cling to their ill gotten gain; all of it. There is no shame, and no amount of money is too much or enough to sate their hunger for more.
