Katy Perry and the MTV Japan Music Video Awards 2009
Celebrities from across the globe came together in Saitama Super Arena in Saitama City, Japan for the MTV Japan Music Video Awards and Katy Perry who has been Female Celebrity of the Month for Janaury 09 on this site, grabs the headline for red carpet cred with a very Japanese looking number and also best performance on the night where she performed Hot n Cold
A night for the girls with other big names in attendance included Fergie and Ciara who also performed live at the event. DJ Caroline D’Amore also attended and was looking particularly demure.
Basically this event is the Japanase equivalent of the US MTV Music Video Awards. Further guest list names included apl.de.ap, Billie Joe Armstrong, Miss Universe Japan Emiri Miyasaka, Black Eyed Peas, BOA, Crystal Kay, Green Day, Mike Dirnt, Taboo, Michelle McCool WWE Wrestler, Triple H and will.i.am.
