Champ Bailey

DENVER - Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey was careful with his words Sunday afternoon.  

Opponents aren't throwing Champ Bailey's way. He Said It "It's hard to win when you stop yourself." Mike Shanahan, on three turnovers by the Broncos.  

In the 2004 offseason, the Broncos were looking to improve on their defensive unit.  They traded for All-Pro cornerback Champ Bailey, signed future Hall of Famer John Lynch and had a first round pick to spend on another playmaker.  D.J. Williams, who at this point in time was a draft prospect...

A blitzing Champ Bailey hits Brian Griese late in the third quarter. Griese's throwing elbow and shoulder were injured and he did not return, but he says it could have been a lot worse.  

You no doubt cringe every time you see that your No. 1 receiver will be lined up across a guy like Denver's Champ Bailey.
