Cheryl Holdridge was a member of the original Mickey Mouse club. Cast in the sring of 1965, the New Orleans native she stayed with the show until it ended. She enjoyed small parts in various television shows. She died of lung cancer on January 5, 2009.
In a deal two decades in the making, China is opening its doors to the Walt Disney Company, having finally given the quintessentially western enterprise the go-ahead to bring Mickey Mouse and his cast of fellow characters to Shanghai with a new Disneyland theme park tailored specifically for the Chinese megalopolis.
