Nearly 30 years to the day since Natalie Wood mysteriously drowned off of California’s Catalina Island, Los Angeles police have reopened the case after hearing several new witness statements. And the latest one is positively haunting and disturbing, if it’s actually true. A woman has come forward saying that for 15 minutes, she heard Wood “crying” for help that she ultimately didn’t get. Past accounts include a response by Wood’s husband, Robert Wagner , who has been ruled out as a suspect in...Read Full Story
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has reopened the investigation into the death of Natalie Wood. Wood died 30 years ago on November 28, at the age of 43, after celebrating Thanksgiving at home, then sailing to Catalina Island on the yacht she shared with husband Robert Wagner. Wood’s sister, Lana, requested in 2010 that the case be reopened. After new information was recently offered, the Sheriff’s Department agreed the case was worth revisiting.
There has been great mystery...Read Full Story
James Patterson couldn’t pitch a plotline this juicy: Dennis Davern, the yacht captain who was behind the wheel when screen star Natalie Wood fell from her boat and drowned off the coast of Catalina Island 30 years ago, appeared on The TODAY Show Friday — where he confessed to lying to the police about the circumstances of Wood’s death for decades and ultimately blamed the actress’ husband, TV star Robert Wagner, for her drowning. Wood’s death was initially ruled an accident by the Los...Read Full Story

Action flicks aren't just for young stars anymore, as evidenced by the commercial success of films like The Expendables, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, and Live Free and Die Hard. But even by those standards, Stand Up Guys boasts a fairly advanced cast. Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, and Alan Arkin have signed on to star in the action-comedy, which was previously titled Old Timers. Fisher Stevens, who won a Best Documentary Oscar in...
Of all the films being developed in the Hollywood-sphere right now, perhaps no other has more reasons to be excited about it than the upcoming, based-on-a-true-story shocker Freezing People is Easy. First off, it’s based on the life story of Robert Nelson, a man who spearheaded a movement in cryonics that saw several bodies being frozen back in the 60s, with disastrous results. Nelson’s story is darkly funny, shockingly grizzly, and endlessly...

To be directed by Fisher Stevens, who won an Oscar for producing The Cove, the film will focus on two aging criminals, one of whom has been hired to kill his friend.
By way of preparation, they decide to enjoy one last night of debauchery during which they hit up a brothel, steal some cars and evade police while also reflecting on the choices they...
It was once postulated that Al Pacino and Christopher Walken could never appear in the same movie, for fear that bringing together such potent forces of self-caricature might be too much for our delicate planet to withstand. Then Gigli happened, and while the world of cinema was certainly shaken by the experience, humanity as a whole was spared extinction.
Jay Mohr, famous from the movie "Jerry Maguire" is also famous for his Christopher Walken impression. Jay's doing some work for DiGiorno Pizza this week. But here's why he thinks Christopher Walken would make a great referee. "I think Christopher Walken ...
Errol Morris? Cryogenics? Sound familiar? Over the summer, the documentarian Morris let it drop that Paul Rudd would lead his adaptation of the memoir “We Froze The First Man.” Well, it looks like it's now beginning to take shape with a new title and one helluva cast coming together. Now known as "Freezing People Is Easy" (ha!), Deadline reports that Owen Wilson, Kirsten Wiig (who needs "Bridesmaids 2"?) and Christopher Walken are all...
With a list of collaborators including Errol Morris, Ira Glass, and the aforementioned Rudd, who will play the real-life TV repairman who pioneered cryogenics back in the sixties, Freezing People Is Easy was already shaping up into a promising movie. Now add in Wilson, Walken, and Wiig (who is reportedly the only cast member still mulling an offer) and the project sounds almost foolproof. Oh, and did we mention it was based on a "This American...
