For all music and art lovers, here is a good news. The much awaited Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival commonly referred as Coachella Fest has announced this year’s event that will start on first weekend of April13-15 followed by the next April weekend 20-22.

For people who are not aware what is fest is all about, then read more to find out. It is an annual music and arts festival held at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, which is just a short car drive from Palm Springs. Generally, the festival held in one weekend, but due to huge and massive response last year this year the festival will happen in two weekends of April 2012.

The Coachella Fest offers variety of musical genres including hip hop, indie, music as well as electronica/dance. The festival also offers music and art lovers several installations of large sculptural art.

You will be surprised with the set-up of the event when you will find various tents and stages are arranged throughout the grounds of the club. Each of the area have different live music that goes on through the entire weekend.

The festival takes place during the early spring in desert that offers arts and music lover a mild climate compared to other areas of the country. Temperatures range in 70’s and 80’s many times during the festival with sometimes reaching lower than 40 degree. However, the daytime always offer abundant sunshine along with warm weather, making the environment perfect weekend for fun. The lineup of this year Coachella Fest includes Headliners including Black Keys (playing on Friday), Radiohead (playing on Saturday) and Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg (playing on Sunday).

Make sure that you are carrying adequate amount of sunscreen to save your skin from the harshness of the sun.
