Courtney Love is back on top.
Courtney Love told reporters at Monday evening's Elton John AIDS Foundation Benefit that she arrived late to the red carpet due to a sartorial situation: her stylist had picked out a white dress with an intentional stain down the back. She told Style.com, "I totally would have worn it if I didn't like the people here, but I like Elton and I love Bill Clinton."It seems Love's dress was worth the wait, as she looked the best she has in years on last night's red carpet in a black gown with a plunging neckline. With her hair expertly styled and her makeup refined, Love looked together. Sure, she still looks incredibly skinny (tabloid stories had painted her in a health crisis over the size of her arms a few months ago), but at least she's got one on Sharon Stone .
