Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden Moves in With Her American Boyfriend, Mr. Christopher O’Neill. Allegedly.
Apparently, the lovebirds will be living in his luxurious 4 bedroom apartment in Manhattan to the horror of Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. The Queen — allegedly — had hoped that Princess Madeleine would return to Sweden to take over Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria’s duties once the royal baby is born in March. However, Berlingske via the Expressen notes that the princess made it absolutely clear that she “…has a life and friends in New York…” and allegedly does not want things to change… meaning she doesn’t want to return to Sweden.
This isn’t the first time Princess Madeleine has shocked her parents and the Swedish royal court regarding her romance with Mr. O’Neill. Recently, the princess showed up for an official event, representing the royal house of Sweden, at Carnegie Hall in NYC with Mr. O’Neill. The royal court were not amused.
