After a seemingly endless election season, tonight Brad Lander won the general election for the race to fill Bill deBlasio's City Council seat. The Democratic primary was an intense 5-way race between Lander, Josh Skaller, Bob Zuckerman, Gary Reilly, and John Heyer. In the general election Lander was pitted against Green Party candidate David Pechefsky and Republican Joe Nardiello. Say hello to Brad: the new City Council member for the 39th!
