Derek Whibley or Deryck Whibley is also known as Bizzy D. He's a musician, guitarist, and lead vocalist of Canadian pop punk band Sum 41.
As a producer he was one of the founders and directors of Bunk Rock Productions.
He married Avril Lavigne on July 15, 2006, in Montecito, California.
Despite Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley's recent personal issues, the band are still working on their forthcoming album.
Although it doesn't have a title, track list, or release date yet, we're told the disc is going to be "pretty fucking heavy" and it's going to take a whole new course from the band's previous sound.
Whibley confirmed that progress is being made in a MySpace blog entry on Thursday.
