Charlie Villanueva says the Detroit Pistons' next coach needs to be a good communicator. Ben Wallace agrees and says he's leaning toward trying to play at least one more season.

It's been about a week since Detroit coach John Kuester was fired, and as the team searches for a replacement, Villanueva and Wallace provided some thoughts on the next coach. Both said the Pistons need someone who can relate well with players after the team went 30-52 amid constant turmoil last season.

Villanueva says there was plenty of blame to go around. He says he wishes Kuester well but the team needs to look forward now.

Villanueva was one of a few Pistons playing in a celebrity softball game Saturday.
