And now Giada De Laurentiis has literally signed on to be part of the Orbit Baby Celebrity Stroller Auction.

Giada has signed one of our client, Orbit Baby's Infant Systems, which we will be offering for auction next month.  100% of the proceeds from the auction of Giada's signed Orbit Infant System will benefit the great and wonderful organization, Save the Children.

As someone who loves both food and family, this is a particularly great meeting of the minds.

One of Save the Children's key projects is to mobilize communities and partner organizations to address the root causes of food insecurity. The organization works with children and their communities to develop their capacity to respond to and solve their most pressing food security problems. Food aid and monetary resources are used to manage programs focused on improving agricultural production and household nutrition, as well as responding to emergency needs.

Save the Children's emergency response to the child hunger crisis is currently focusing on six ofOrbit_celebrity_stroller  the worst-affected areas in Ethiopia. Life-saving, high-energy foods are being distributed through emergency feeding centers. One of these high-energy foods, called Plumpy'nut, is a peanut-based paste that comes in a foil packet and contains vitamins and minerals. It does not require water or refrigeration and is extremely effective for treating children who are malnourished.

Save the Children is making an urgent global appeal to help an estimated 900,000 people, including 325,000 children in Ethiopia, and others around the world who are bearing the brunt of this severe food price crisis.
