Meghan McCain Wants Hilary Duff to Play Her in Movie Version of Her Unwritten Book

So I'm not sure if this means some film studio has already optioned Meghan McCain's forthcoming (not yet written) book. But from the way she's talking, we'll be seeing Meghan's big screen analog before her hard covers even hit the bargain bin.

And who does she see playing the title role onscreen? The McCain daughter told the New York Daily News she has some ideas.

"I want Hilary Duff to play me. I think she's really hot - hotter than me - but I'd still want her to play me," she said. But it doesn't really have to be Duff, she says. "Really, I'd take anyone who's blond."

Also, maybe Meghan's glad her dad wasn't elected. Why? The Secret Service. Those dudes are totally not hot enough for her.

"The Obamas are doing very well -- their popularity is very high -- but I'm just happy it's nothing my family has to figure out," she said. "I'm so relieved. I did not get along with the Secret Service, so it's good that I'm not living there. You know those Disney movies [where princesses are always well guarded]? Life in the White House is just like that, except there were no cute guards. Seriously, none of them were cute at all!"

Also appearing in the film would be some version of Sarah Palin that would probably not be very flattering given Meghan's previous ambivalence shown toward the Alaska governor. And of course someone would have to play her parents and all kinds of other fun casting decisions would have to be made.

Don't worry though, Meghan says it's not some kind of political Oliver Stone downer. No, she says her book/movie will be a mix between Primary Colors (which you've probably never seen), and Tori Spelling's book Tori Telling (which you've probably never read). When can we buy tickets?!
