Toyota Prius and hybrid versions of Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Escape, Saturn Vue, and Toyota Camry pay back price premium after one year  

Unplug me, please. After a week in an '08 Toyota Prius and an '08 Honda Civic Hybrid, I'm zapped. Don't get me wrong: These cars practically lumber down the road from the weight of their vast technologies.  

TOKYO: Nissan is considering developing plug-in hybrid vehicles that can be charged at home, as it seeks to catch up with its rivals in fuel-sipping cars, an official said on Wednesday.  

These days, chances are better than even that California legislators will be seen driving a highly fuel-efficient car. The car of choice for their leased vehicles is now a gas-electric hybrid. To date, 47 of the 80 Assembly members and 16 of 40 senators have made the switch.  

A next-generation 2010 Toyota Prius was snapped in full camo regalia filling up at a gas station. So what can we tell? Mainly that the Prius' has totally ripped off the styling of the new Honda...  

Given the mission of the Toyota Prius, not to mention its technical complexity, it's not a huge surprise there isn't a lot of tuner work being done on the Toyota hybrid. Oh sure, there are a couple...
