Trouble in Paradise for Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy?

Rumors of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy being on the rocks have persisted for months -- and reports have claimed just about everything from Jamie cheating on Jennifer, to him just continuing the facade of their relationship to appease her. To set the record straight, People got the scoop from Kennedy himself.

Background: Kennedy used to date Shannon Funk, also known as Britney Spears' former assistant. The most recent wave of gossip suggested Kennedy was still smitten with his former love and plotting how to leave JLH for her.

Verdict? False. Kennedy's rep told the magazine "There's no truth to this report," and a couple of weeks ago Kennedy himself confirmed, "People just keep going on. We know what we are."

In fact, the couple's behavior even just this week seems to prove they're not fizzling out anytime soon. On Saturday, Jamie performed at Long Beach's Laugh Factory, where he brought Jennifer onstage with him. A rep for the venue told People Kennedy said "his eyes had stopped roaming and that he had no plans of ruining a good thing."
