Jessie J Shows Up to MTV VMAs with Broken Foot

(Getty Images)more pics » Jessie J (Getty Images) Jessie J showed up to the MTV Video Music Awards rocking crutches and a cast with her red carpet look. Fortunately the black striped cast and crutches matched her bedazzled outfit.

An onstage accident a couple months ago left Jessie J's foot injured, and the cast certainly affected her performance on the show. Jessie sang for the house band on the VMAs, singing favorites such as "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" in between awards and performances. And because of her cast, she performed the entire time while seated on a throne-like white chair.

This will undoubtedly be many US fans' first introduction to the British pop star, but it won't be the last time you hear from her. Jessie J's star is definitely on the rise. Check out more pictures of her VMA crutch and cast look below.
