Sania Mirza to marry Sohrab Mirza

Sohrab and Sania have been friends since childhood and if you’re wondering how did he come into the picure after the news spread that Sania was indeed dating Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor than you’re in the same league as others!

Apparently, the wedding was arranged by her parents and there was not ‘dating period’ or ‘being friends’ as such.

Their engagement date has been set for jury 10th, according to a source, while the wedding is not yet scheduled.

“The marriage date has not been fixed. Sania wishes to continue playing for some more time while the boy is still studying. It might take some time before the families agree on a date,” the source said.”

I must say that the news will break the heart of quite a many people around the world. Sania is one hot tennis player and she is indeed regarded no less than a Bollywood star in India.

As a biography, Sohrab Mirza was born in 1985 so his age is 23. He resides in Hyderabad and is from the family of an Iranian businessman Samad Seth, who set up a chain of restaurants ‘Universal Bakers’ in the city. Mr. Seth was a caterer to Prince Azam Jah in his early years and Sohrab’s mother is from the royal family, Shaheda Begum.

Sohrab attended St. Mary’s College and graduated with a degree in Commerce. He is set to pursue MBA in Britain and will most probably, join the family business of catering and real estate.

Sania, who is playing in the on-going French Open tournament, has not yet commented on her engagement.
