The death of Dakota Culkin has hit the Culkin family hard, reports PEOPLE magazine.

“They’re heartbroken. That I can tell you. They’re just absolutely heartbroken,” says Emily Gerson Saines, who manages Macaulay, Rory and Kieran Culkin.

Dakota died Dec. 9 after being struck by a vehicle when she stepped off a curb in West Los Angeles.

Macaulay, 28, was filming the new NBC drama “Kings” and Kieran, 26, was on the set of the movie “Paper Man”, and Rory, 19, was promoting his new film, “Lymelife”, which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. All projects are temporarily on hold.

The family also has brothers Christian, 21, and Shane, 32, and sister Quinn, 24.
