Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who has been working overtime to woo gay voters as she strives to put her Blue Dog days behind her, has landed the endorsement of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBT civil rights organization.
In a statement released by the Gillibrand campaign, HRC President Joe Solmonese said the senator has "emerged as one of the strongest advocates in the Senate for full equality for the LGBT community."
