Basso & Brooke, the work of Brazilian Bruno Basso and Englishman Christopher Brooke, debuted a collection of flattering, strong-shouldered tunics and high-waisted skirts at this year's London Fashion Week.
The Basso and Brooke Spring 2009 collection plays with unusual fabrics and patterns complemented with thick, colorful belts (a fashion trend for another consecutive year).
The designers must have known their silhouettes borrowed heavily from the late 80's/early 90's, as the models all sported fake flat tops not seen since the days of Vanilla Ice.
