Mandira Bedi is an Indian telivision actress who shot to fame first as television star in the soap Shanti and then as a television presenter during the 2003 Cricket World Cup and also in 2007 Cricket World Cup. Although she doesn't quite contribute to the cricket talk shows in sense of knowledge but she does contribute to the X-factor leading to increased TRP's of the show. Bedi created a stirr in Bangladesh over her unwarranted criticism of the Bangladeshi Cricket Team following their defeat of India in the World Cup 2007 group stages. She also reportedly loves wearing off-shoulder tops.

She was born and brought up in Bombay, and is married to an Indian movie director Raj Kaushal and lives in Bandra, Mumbai. She received national acclaim through her debut television serial Shanti.
