Meredith Vieira Gets a Jab From Jay Leno About Her 'Naked News' Past

Meredith Vieira turned a great shade of red on a Today show segment this morning when Al Roker played a clip from last night's Jay Leno Show, in which the comedian made it look like Meredith had a former stint on Naked News. The clip shows a young Meredith's head plastered on a blurred-out naked body as she broadcasts. Meredith hadn't seen the video yet, so she was pretty taken aback by the whole charade. She was a great sport though, and said in between fits of laughter, "It was only a month!"

The Today show kicked off a segment on mentors this week so Al kept the jokes coming and said: "Who was your mentor, David Letterman!?" Burn!

The Today show co-hosts certainly got a good laugh at poor Meredith's expense -- even typically super-serious Ann Curry had her hand on her head and laughed throughout the segment.

I can't believe what I saw today on Mill. with Meredith Vieira. I noticed that she was identifiably pregnant. I know the blouse she was wearing was a maternity top. When is she going to annonce this to America? I believe she is 56 yr's old now. Isn't that pushing it? Maybe if she gets too big, she will leave the game show. She has got to be the worlds worst game show host. She teases the contestants unmercifully, & I know she has made some very mad. If they have the right answer, then tell them so, right now, not 5 min's later, that is plainly mean. We would love to see Regus come back. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. I 've read the review's. Well I hope she still leaves no matter. Thanks Yev.
