The Oscar-winning actress was spotted earlier this week sporting deep, dark roots at the "Like Dandelion Dust" premiere at the 35th American Film Festival in Deauville, France.

"Cameron Diaz has been doing the root thing for a while, so it's sort of a chic thing to show your roots," says Charlie Price, runner-up on Bravo's "Shear Genius" and two-time North American Hair Stylist of the Year. "It's sort of a trend for spring."
