Orange Bowl Slaughter? Doobie Brothers A-OK!

doobie-brothers_celebrityonline It was the Orange Bowl’s 75th anniversary.. To compliment that fact they decided to book the senior citizens band the Doobie Brothers.. Ok maybe thats bein a bit hard on these guys but they’re almost 75 yrs old themselves so go figure right?

At half time they did they did their thing and performed crowd favorites like.. China Grove and Long Train Runnin’ .

Unfortunately the game was somewhat uneventful.. Some people would even call it a slaughtering but that may be going a bit overboard with a score of only 20-7.

At least there were some major highlights like a 17-yard touchdown slide by Virginia Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor.

Still, it left something to be desired.. It’s always a little more exciting when it comes down to the wire right??
